Time-Saving Tools
Here is a list of some of our very favourite online tools that will help as you grow your art business.
Please note that some of these paid for tools have affiliate links, which means we may get a small payout if you decided to go ahead and sign up with any of them.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Our favourite go to collection of all things design; Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX and more. A slightly steeper learning curve, but very much worth the effort. We could not run without it.
Canva
Canva is a graphic design platform that allows users to create social media graphics, presentations, posters and other visual content. It is available on web and mobile, and integrates millions of images, fonts, templates and illustrations.
Dropbox
Dropbox is cloud based storage, where you can share, work with others and integrate and access from your desktop, as well as mobile and iPad apps. Brilliant for those large files you need to share but cannot send over email.
Evernote
Evernote is a note-taking app designed to collect and organise text, images, videos etc. These notes are then backed up to the cloud. This allows the user access to their notes from any platform. We love this for daily to-do-lists
Kajabi
OK, so we may be a bit biased here, but this is hands down the very best all-in-one platform if you want to run online courses and workshops. You can build your website, create all your products, take payments, set up templated landing pages, email list and SO much more - no more separate programs.
Mail Chimp
Great email marketing program if you are new to building your artists mailing list and just want a simple place to start. It is free - which is a huge bonus, whilst also being very easy to use and super quick to set up too. It is also great for website compatibility with platforms like WordPress, Squarespace or Wix.
Squarespace
Squarespace is the all-in-one solution for anyone looking to create a beautiful website without needing too much customisation or back-end control. It provides domains, hosting, beautiful templates and block design, eCommerce, galleries, analytics, and 24/7 support.
Tailwind
Tailwind is the smartest way to manage your presence across the visual web (Pinterest & Instagram), and offers a complete suite of marketing tools including Smart Scheduling, Analytics & Monitoring, Content Discovery, Education, Tribes, Hashtag Suggestions and more.
Trello
Trello is a collaboration tool that organises your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what's being worked on, who's working on what, and where something is in a process. Imagine a white board, filled with lists of sticky notes, with each note as a task for you and your team. ... That's Trello!
WordPress
WordPress is the world's most popular platform for creating websites. It’s a totally flexible builder, allowing for all the customisation and control you could ever want! However, it is possibly not for the total beginner. This site is built on WordPress, whereas my art site is built on Squarespace - different requirements.
