Make sure you have some clean jars sterilised and ready for use if you are planning on keeping this, rather than using straight away. This makes approx. 6/7 400 gram jars. Once you smell it though, it’ll be hard to keep.

  1. Go ahead and assemble all your ingredients. Put everything except the brandy into a large bowl, mix well, cover and leave for 12/24 hours till everything is sitting in the juice.
  2. Tip your lovely fruity mixture into a large pan and add the brandy. Boil for 15-20 minutes till all the liquid is reduced. Then take off the heat and leave to cool.
  3. Either use straight away for making your lovely Vegan and Gluten-Free Mince Pies, or add to your sterilised jars, lid and store for later.
